The history of the company

Greigcare was formed in 1992 by Barbara and Ross Greig who felt that people should be able to remain in their own homes even when age or disability could make it difficult to manage. Regular visits by experienced, trained Support Workers would help to do this.

The business was taken over in 2001 and with the help of our long serving administration staff and our Support Workers we continue to serve the local community.

We are very proud of the reputation we have built, continually receiving excellent reviews from the Government Registered Body as well as past and present clients. Our services are carried out by fully trained, well-mannered, and smartly dressed staff who share our philosophy that everyone is entitled to a safe, comfortable, dignified, and caring environment.

All Support Staff are covered by our insurance.

All of our staff, both support and administration, undergo a strict vetting procedure during their recruitment stage including full references, and a Criminal Records Police Check.

Our support staff are trained by professional bodies covering the National Minimum Care Standards and undergo regular monitoring.
All our staff undergo strict vetting at their recruitment stage which includes full references and a DBS check. (Disclosure and Barring Service).
